Welcome to My Closet Score!

I've been soo obsessed with bright colored nails that if for one day they are bare I get really self conscious and try to hide them.  As you can see my newest additions are exactly that - Bold, Bright, Summery COLORS!!

Love me some colors. Maybe its the crazy ginger in me but I have to be splashed with color or else I feel depressed (as if my red hair wasn't enough color)

Do you like my new colors? What colors are you feening this season?

Can you use feening that way?

Mod Square, Are We There Yet, Arizona, Quick Canary, Turquoise & Caicois, Hydrangea Kiss, Swimsuit...Nailed It

With these three colors  . . . .

I am officially equipped to do a little something I call

 Sunset Ombre

I don't know why they chip so fast I literally did them last night at 12 am, but aren' t they pretty

So you remember that Bakery Square Contest right? So yesterday after an orientation at my new gym Urban Active (located in Bakery Square as well) I put that $50 gift card to Free People to good use.

I picket up a comfy pretty lacey coral shirt for $29.95 - available in grey and white but obviously I gravitated to the one color they do have. It has a wide neckline and is versatile in a way that can be worn in summer or winter and of course two statement necklaces $9.95 each a total of $51.25 so baaasicly on budget :-)

Wondering about the Anthorpologie one? Well I recently got a 15% off coupon for my birthday that can only be used in July, so I am waiting till to get maximum usage ;-)

Score!

Feathers might fall off but that would probably be a quick fix

Whoops I totally forgot to show the clothes I was FORCED to buy while I was in Japan .. . . .

I don't know the names of any of the places I purchased these :-(

Travel Diary: Final Post of Japan

The final post of our lovely trip to Japan. I loved the visiting Japan so much! It has the most amazing, graceful, kind, and refined culture I have seen yet. Our last day was bittersweet - I was so excited  to returen to the comforts of my home but sad to say goodbye to an old beautiful culturally rich country.

Certain things I picked up on:

  1. No one speaks perfect English - I welcomed this because I felt more engulfed in the culture
     - but being able to speak English is a status symbol
  2. You will be able to find many delicious French bakeries because french pastries are very popular
  3. Japan is very clean and no one and I mean NO ONE  litters
  4. Walk on the left side not the right
  5. There are multiple types of thank you's
  6. A sushi chef has the equivalence of importance as a  doctor does in the U.S.
  7. There are still Japanese women who dress in a kimono or yukata that you'll see on the street
  8. Genuine Geisha are hard to come by
  9. Deer are sacred and you will not find it on the menu in Japan
 10. The Japanese will eat ANY kind of seafood
 11. Fruits and vegetables are mostly imported and are difficult to grow in Japan
 12. While jeans and t's can be sighted, most people including cab drivers wear suits even at
        12 am
 13. It is completely normal for girls to wear really short skirts but not a hint of cleavage will be seen
 14. The subway system is REALLY  easy
 15. The bars and clubs are really clean for bars and clubs
i.e. no sleezy guys, dirty sticky floors, or picture taking
 16. The Japanese love lines - will line up to get on the train, wait for an escalator, really anything!
 17. People either have flip phones or Iphones?!
 18. You take your shoes off before entering a dress room
 19. The sales associate in a store will sometimes walk your bag to the exit of the store and
       then hand it to you

Last Day
We woke up at 8 am to visit the fish market but couldn't quite manage to get up at 4am to see the auctioning off of the prime cuts of fish to wholesalers. We did however enjoy the freshest sushi breakfast we will ever have and two cups huge glasses of sake complimentry of a new friend.

Taking pictures is frowned upon I snuck one in ;-)

Travel Diary: Japan Part V

Soooooo much to post!!!

I could probably do five more posts but I'll try to limit it to make one more besides this - folks me doing 6 posts on Japan is considered restraint! Ha! Lol! Thanks for putting up with me!

We knew this was our second to last day and last night in Japan so we really ran around town to see as much as possible! We went to see the Toyota Showroom one of the biggest in Japan! Apparently Lexus isn't sold in Japan they just have fancier Toyotas?!

We then went to Harajuku doing our best to beat the weather! We also went to window shop at Shibuya 109 which is filled with crazy funky trendy stores and crazy funky trendy dressed people. I took a bunch of street style pics - my eye ballss were literally falling out of their sockets!!! (I'll do a trend report in my next post) After Harajuku we went to the hotel took a breather and went out again for lunch to the only kosher restaurant in Japan. The Jewess inside me was thanking me so hard for feeding her a much needed bagel and falafel after too much fish and rice and veggies.

After lunch we were pooped and and once nightfall came we headed to see the Tokyo Sky Tree and got din din (fish, rice, veggies, and sake).

Intensely playing one of the interactive Toyota games. He looks way cuter than I do!
I sucked! I came in 3,600 place
Taken! LOL!
